Luca starts most days with a splash in the ocean before she begins her grand juggling performance. With great skill and grace she barely manages to; keep a yoga studio full of satisfied students and a colorful staff, to teach classes with techniques for folks to find more ease their bodies and minds, to listen closely, to walk all over people therapeutically (literally, really!), to make potions and nourishing snacks for the masses, to pull weeds, to breathe deeply, to design t-shirts, signs and flyers, and to ride her bike to the places she needs to go to do all of these uniquely mundane and simply complex things.
A rare bird from Wisconsin, she is ever curious to learn about this rich and wild world in all its beauty and truth. In her pursuit to do so, she has spent copious amounts of her time studying the wonders of yoga and stretching, of forests, oceans, and mountains, of natural systems, nourishing food, and human relating. She has also travelled to 19 countries to see what other people, plants, and animals are up to, and if they are any more sane than us here in the states. In addition, she is currently a full time student with you all here in Santa Barbara.
nicely done!
ReplyDeleteWow you have a very busy yet fulfilled life! My friend has recently made a promise to herself to travel to a new country every summer to learn about these places and I hope to join her some summers. I really admire your writing style!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be in a really good place! I love travelling too, do you have a favorite part of the world that you have visited or want to visit?
